So, to the left of you are three images, our State, Regional and National Cars respectively. They have all won us arguably two of the most important awards at each competition; Best Engineered Design, and Fastest Lap. The cars themselves can't take all the credit though, both were designed by two very talented engineers, Laura Kirk and Chris Jenkins. For this competition Chris has become the manufacturing engineer. The new design team now comprises of Laura Kirk and Evan Pignatelli, the lead design engineer behind the car that came 4th in the World last November. Two very talented designers and one very talented manufacturer make for a great E Team (Engineering Team). The National car came first in the Grand Prix, Second in Knockout Racing, and 4th for overall speed at 1.058 Seconds. Which, is still extremely fast. 

 

Unfortunately our World Finals Car was not fast enough to take out first place like its predecessors, coming in at 1.083 Seconds down the 20 metre track. A very fast time, but 0.03 seconds too slow to take out the car from A1 Racing. (Also from Team Australia)
